College Advising Office hosts annual Paying for College Seminar

On the evening of Sept. 27, the College Advising Office hosted its annual Paying for College Seminar. This year’s speaker was John Sisk, senior assistant director in the Office of Financial Aid at Emory University. Sisk brought his 26 years of financial aid expertise to the subject of paying for college.
During his presentation, Sisk polled the parents in attendance asking which grade(s) their students are in currently. He noted the importance of learning about this topic and the resources offered early so that they can have a better understanding of how to plan.

Topics discussed included types of financial aid, sources of aid, and net price calculators, among other things. Current Wesleyan families may view Sisk’s presentation here.

Thank you again, to Mr. John Sisk, for being such a valuable resource to Wesleyan families.
