The Varsity Girls Soccer continued their strong play with two big wins this week over Towers (Tuesday evening) and King's Ridge (Thursday evening). The wins moved their record to 3-0-1 on the young season. The Lady Wolves will be back in action next Wednesday, 2/21, on the road at Whitefield. The Wolves were led offensively by Lainey Jerding (3 goals, 1 assist) and Harper Chapman (3 goals, 2 assists). Additionally, Merry Alice Gordy, Michelle Custis, Lexi Brown and Mallory Suits added one goal apiece. Lily Corbitt and Michelle Custis combined for the shutout in goal.
Wesleyan 8, King's Ridge 1- Lainey Jerding (2 goals, 3 assists), Laurel Edge (2 goals, 2 assists) and Emma Glazier (2 goals) led the Wolves offensively. Also contributing in the attack was Harper Chapman (1 goal, 1 assist) and Merry Alice Gordy (one goal, 2 assists).
